523. Location: Schenectady, NY. So, so far I have been able to sit on a new KLX300sm (I'm not interested in a SM, but it was in stock so I sat on it), 2020 CRF250L Rally, and a new XT250. My observations so far, the KLX felt cheesier and "cheaper" than the Honda. To my surprise, I felt most comfortable on the XT250. KLX250 then appeared circa 2006 as a dual-sport, went in and out of production, re-emerged updated and fuel-injected in 2018 - which set the stage for the boring-out and re-introduction of a new KLX300 for 2021. It uses the same 78 x 61.2mm bore and stroke as the original '97 thumper and looks just like it too, from the outside at least.
